“SAY IT”
“ Masculinity can be defined as the quality or nature of the male sex: the quality, state, or degree of being masculine or manly”.
Toxic Masculinity is the result of the classic stereotypes of men: Strong, Sexy, Rich, often Aggressive, Egoistic, and Self-centered. Previous research shows that men develop these behaviors because they must not be seen as weak by others. Although studies have also shown that the highly competitive nature of the work environment enhances this behavior, sports, since the teenage age, can also be very impactful on the development of toxic behaviors. But, can they also be the way to address it?

DOCA — “Department of Cannabis Affair”
In America, marijuana has become not only legal in 11 states but decriminalized or reduced in terms of its punishment by law in many more. In New York City, marijuana is already decriminalized and medicinal marijuana legalized. Similarly, CBD is now so legal that TSA released a statement saying that you are able to fly with it. New York State and City are moving towards the legalization of Marijuana, and the legalization of non-psychoactive forms of marijuana (CBD) for more than just medical purposes. The legalization would positively affect the lives of many people and communities. An agency will be necessary to reinforce the regulations over transportation and use. Thus, I, along with Breckenridge and Luca, propose “The New York City Cannabis Agency”. An agency whose sole responsibility is to oversee the sale, taxation, licensing of the cannabis industry.
